Here's the essence of an update macro that moves data from one workbook (oldWorkbook) to another (newWorkbook). The portion that specifies the workbooks is contained in the macro that invokes CopyData.
Note that the regions copied have names. This is an important technique that all templates should employ, because it supports automated data extraction and, as in this case, migration. However, normally one would not wire those names into an array inside the code. It's better to put them in a table in the update macro's workbook, because that way you can reuse the code for a variety of migrations, by referring to one table or another, depending on what migration you're executing.
